ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Saint John's senior sprinter
Kevin Arthur (Champlin, Minn./Champlin Park) earned his first individual All-America honor with a seventh-place finish in the 100-meter dash on the third and final day of the 2023 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships – Saturday, May 27 – on the campus of St. John Fisher University.
Arthur (
right, courtesy of Elijah Wade) finished with a time of 10.44 seconds, .001 of a second from sixth place and 0.05 from fourth.
He collected his first All-America distinction as a member of SJU's fourth-place 4x100-meter relay team in 2021.
Arthur's All-America performance was the Johnnies' second of the meet, joining classmate
Brett Hague's (Brainerd, Minn.) seventh-place mark in the javelin on Thursday (May 25).
