MIAC Release

COLLEGEVILLE, Minn. – One hundred-fifteen Saint John's University student-athletes received Academic All-MIAC honors for the 2020-21 academic year on Tuesday, June 29.

Student-athletes must be a sophomore, junior or senior with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50 on a 4.00 scale to qualify for Academic All-MIAC recognition. Transfers, like freshmen, must complete a full academic year to be eligible the following season.

Due to the abbreviated seasons for 2020-21 fall and winter sports, the athletic requirement was eliminated for basketball, cross country, football, hockey, soccer and swimming and diving.

Athletically, student-athletes in baseball and tennis must compete in 50 percent of their team's varsity, regular-season contests. Track and field honorees must qualify as an individual or compete on a relay team at the MIAC Outdoor Championships. Golf honorees must have either competed in a minimum of 12 competitive rounds or participated at the MIAC Championships in May.
