ST. PAUL, Minn. – Saint John's track and field won seven events, and totaled 15 top-three performances, on Friday, May 30, at St. Thomas' Tomcat Twilight.
Senior
Ryan Miller (Maple Grove, Minn./Totino-Grace) won the 100-meter dash with a season-best time of 10.62 seconds, which is still sixth in NCAA Division III.
The Johnnies' 4x100-meter relay team (

Kevin Arthur,
Brady Labine, Miller) took first place in 41.27 seconds, 0.35 off the school-record time of 40.92 seconds that won the 2019 Division III outdoor title. The current time is sixth-fastest in Division III.
Sophomore
Maguire Petersen (Hutchinson, Minn.) topped his season-best height in the high jump by 0.25 inches to win the event (2.06 meters). The new mark is tied for sixth in Division III.
Junior
Michael Wallace (Nassau, Bahamas/St. Anne's) improved his season-best mark by 0.75 inches to win the triple jump (14.02 meters), while sophomore
Brett Hague (Brainerd, Minn.) and senior
Ryan Thompson (Minneapolis, Minn./Edina) went 1 (50.60 meters)-2 (49.54 meters) in the javelin.
Senior
Drew Dockendorf (Sauk Rapids, Minn./Holdingford) cleared 4.86 meters to win the pole vault, 0.15 meters ahead of junior
Shawn Schindler (Maple Grove, Minn.) in second (4.71 meters). The height of 4.86 meters is seventh-best in Division III.
Junior
Andy Goldsmith (Tulsa, Okla./Cascia Hall) won the 5,000 meters in 15:24.31 and junior
Nathan Meyer (Iowa City, Iowa/Regina) led a pack of three Johnnies behind him in third (16:13.76).
Sophomore
Alexei Hensel (Buffalo, Minn.) placed second in the 800 meters (1:56.91) and freshman
Tommy Allen (Woodbury, Minn./St. Paul Academy) took second in the 1,500 meters (4:00.23).
Junior
Jack Young (Cold Spring, Minn./Rocori) and sophomore
Gavin Rupp (Villard, Minn./Minnewaska Area) finished third in the 200-meter dash (22.64) and shot put (13.97 meters), respectively. Sophomore
Jacob Lipke (Stewart, Minn./Hutchinson) was third in the steeplechase (10:24.15).
The Johnnies return to UST on Wednesday, May 5, for the Tommie Twilight.
