SARTELL, Minn. - Saint John's cruised to a 9-0 tennis shutout of Minnesota-Morris on Friday, March 26, at Sta-Fit in Sartell.

The Johnnies (4-0, 3-0 MIAC) rested their top two singles players, seniors Thomas Gillach (Lindstrom, Minn./Chisago Lakes) and Nate Jordre (St. Cloud, Minn./Tech), and won each bout in straight sets.

Gillach teamed up with classmate Logan Lintvedt (Independence, Minn./Delano) for an 8-0 shutout at No. 1 doubles against UMM (1-2, 0-0 UMAC).

The Fischer (Spicer, Minn./Willmar) triplets recorded a win each: Peyton at No. 2 singles, Will at No. 5 singles and Hunter (with freshman Ian Aadland) at No. 3 doubles.

The Johnnies travel south to face Gustavus Adolphus (6-0, 2-0 MIAC) at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, March 27, in St. Peter.
