ST. CLOUD, Minn. - Saint John's hockey's potent scoring offense turned cold in a 3-1 non-conference loss to St. Scholastica on Wednesday, Feb. 10, at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center (HBNHC) in St. Cloud.
SJU (3-2 overall), which scored 17 goals over its previous three games, generated a season-high 45 shots on net (40 even-strength) but only mustered one goal.
St. Scholastica (1-4 overall) led 1-0 after the first period, thanks to a power-play goal from Carson Rose at the 12:13 mark, despite a 15-6 shot deficit.

Tanner Dufault (Kasson, Minn.) put SJU on the scoreboard with his second goal of the season, and 10th of his career, with 5:20 remaining in the frame.
Fresh off a 5-for-5 showing on the power play in Sunday's (Feb. 7) 8-2 conference win over Bethel, SJU went 0-for-3 Wednesday night.
