Final 2019-20 Bushnell Golfweek Poll
COLLEGEVILLE, Minn. - The Saint John's University golf team was ranked No. 23 in the final Bushnell Golfweek Division III Coaches' poll of the 2019-20 season released April 3.
The Johnnies were determined to earn their third consecutive at-large berth to the NCAA Division III Championship this spring, what would have been their 18th national tournament appearance overall, but the COVID-19 pandemic forced the NCAA to cancel all championships March 12 and the MIAC followed suit with all spring sports the following day (March 13).
The abrupt end to the season concluded the collegiate careers of three seniors, all of whom earned Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) All-District honors during their four years at SJU. The trio combined for 32 top-10 finishes, including 15 in the top five, and 25 rounds at par or below.
