MENDOTA HEIGHTS, Minn. - Saint John's hockey earned a weekend split with a 4-0 shutout of St. Thomas on Saturday, Feb. 8, in Mendota Heights.
Senior goaltender
Andrew Lindgren (Minneapolis, Minn.) made 42 saves for his first shutout of the season and fifth of his career for the Johnnies (8-8-5, 5-3-4 MIAC).
SJU has now scored exactly four goals in each of their last five wins against St. Thomas (9-8-3, 6-5-1 MIAC), including a pair of 4-1 victories last season. The shutout was the third in the last four games for the Johnnies, who are now 4-1-1 in their last six trips to St. Thomas Ice Arena.

The Johnnies chased UST goaltender Henry Baribeau from the game when freshman forward
Dan Wieber (St. Joseph, Minn.) made it 3-0 on his fifth goal of the season with 12:44 left in the second period.
Sophomore forward
Russell Harren (Wasilla, Alaska) ended the scoring with his second career goal with 3:05 to play in regulation.
