ST. CLOUD, Minn. – Saint John's hockey returned to the win column with a 4-0 shutout of St. Olaf on Thursday, Jan. 30, at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center in St. Cloud.

Junior goaltender Mac Berglove (Elk River, Minn.) made 31 saves to record his second shutout of the season and third of his career. He is now 2-0-1 with a 1.33 GAA and a .962 save percentage (127 saves) in his last four games (224:49).

Freshman forward Dan Wieber (St. Joseph, Minn.) scored a pair of goals and junior forward Ryan Kero (Hermantown, Minn.) tallied two assists as 10 different Johnnies recorded a point in the victory.

Sophomore forward Davis Kirkendall (Hamel, Minn.) opened the scoring for SJU (6-7-5, 3-2-4 MIAC) with his seventh goal of the season 8:05 into the game and freshman defenseman Peter Tabor (Edina, Minn.) made it 2-0 with a power-play goal, his third tally of the season, with 6:36 left in the opening frame.
