MIAC Release

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. - The MIAC Athletics Directors' Council agreed to postpone and move Wednesday's (Jan. 30) basketball games to Thursday (Jan. 31) due to the predicted extreme cold temperatures and dangerous wind chills. 

A vast majority of campuses have cancelled classes and many closed campus completely for Wednesday given wind chill temps predicted at -40 or worse. The decision was made to help ensure safety for everyone involved with the contests.

The tip-off for No. 12 SJU's (15-3, 11-2 MIAC) game at Bethel (12-7, 9-5 MIAC) is scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Royals' Robertson Center in Arden Hills.
