Senior
Jacob Upton (Bloomington, Minn./Jefferson) won the 100-yard freestyle (49.99) and freshman
Steven Froehle (DuPont, Wash./Steilacoom) took first in the 50-yard freestyle with a season-best time of 22.71 seconds.
Sophomore
Mitchell Dockendorf (St. Stephen, Minn./Sartell-St. Stephen) and freshman
Spencer Atkinson (Litchfield, Minn.) went 1 (55.27)-2 (57.60) in the 100-yard backstroke, while Atkinson and sophomore
Eli Greenblat (Plymouth, Minn./Wayzata) claimed 1 (2:07.70)-2 (2:07.82) in the 200-yard individual medley. Greenblat and sophomore
Joe Schwamm (Littleton, Colo./Mullen) touched the wall first (1:03.67) and second (1:06.20), respectively, in the 100-yard breaststroke.
Freshman
Leo Braun (Sauk Centre, Minn./Melrose Area) won both the 1- (190.27) and 3-meter (211.35) dives.
The Johnnies claimed first in both the 200-yard freestyle (1:32.51; Dockendorf, Upton,
Jayson Valek,
Ryan Pauley) and 200-yard medley (1:42.57; Atkinson, Greenblat, Dockendorf, Froehle) relays.
The Johnnies compete at St. Thomas' MIAC Invitational at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, in St. Paul.
