COLLEGEVILLE, Minn. – Saint John's University's 4x100-meter relay team tied its week-old school record with a time of 41.32 seconds to finish 12th out of 16 teams in the prelims on Thursday, May 24, at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships in La Crosse, Wis.

The relay team, which consists of junior Drew Schoenbauer (New Prague, Minn.) and freshmen Nick Gannon (St. Paul, Minn./Hill-Murray), Brady Labine (Detroit Lakes, Minn.) and Ryan Miller (Maple Grove, Minn./Totino-Grace), finished seventh in the event's second heat. The top two times in the two heats, plus the next best five overall, advanced to Saturday's final.

SJU set the school record May 17 on the same track at Wisconsin-La Crosse's Last-Chance Qualifier. The time was the 15th-fastest in Division III and broke SJU's previous record of 41.76 seconds set in 1999.

Miller's 100-meter dash prelims are scheduled for 4:30 p.m. Friday, May 25.
