Gustavus Snaps SJU's Win Streak

ST. PETER, Minn. – Saint John's soccer's win streak ended at three with a 2-0 loss at Gustavus Adolphus on Saturday, Oct. 14, in St. Peter.

Arthur Parens scored both goals for the Gusties (10-5, 5-3 MIAC), one with 38 seconds remaining in the first half and the other with 5:16 left in the game, his 10th and 11th of the season.

Sophomore Payton Spencer (Hudson, Wis.) made nine saves in the loss for SJU (5-6-2, 2-3-2 MIAC).

The Johnnies return home to host Hamline at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 20, at Haws Field in Collegeville.
