MOORHEAD, Minn. – Saint John's hockey settled for a weekend split with Concordia following a 5-1 loss on Saturday, Nov. 5, in Moorhead.
The Cobbers (3-1, 1-1 MIAC) broke the scoreless tie with three goals in the second period and sandwiched the Johnnies' lone goal with two more in the third.

Evan Okeley (Carmel, Ind.) put SJU (3-1, 1-1 MIAC) on the scoreboard with a 5-on-3, power-play goal 7:52 into the third period, with assists going to junior forward

Andrew Lindgren (Minneapolis, Minn.) allowed all five goals, two of which were on the power play, and made 25 saves in the loss. SJU out-shot CC 32-30 but went 1-for-5 on the man advantage.
The Johnnies return to non-conference play with a pair of games against nationally-ranked opponents next weekend, beginning with a 7 p.m. bout with No. 8 Wisconsin-Eau Claire on Friday, Nov. 11. SJU then visits the defending NCAA Division III champions, top-ranked Wisconsin-Stevens Point, for a 7 p.m. contest on Saturday, Nov. 12.
