COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Saint John's shot 65.4 percent (17-for-26) from the field in the second half in a 76-64 win over Willamette (Ore.) on Friday, Nov. 25, at Colorado College's Reid Arena.
The Johnnies (3-1 overall) broke a 26-26 halftime tie with a 12-2 run to start the second half and led the rest of the way. SJU shot 66.7 percent (20-for-30) from the floor in the final 21:35 of the game and finished at 48.3 percent (28-for-58), despite an uncharacteristic 1-for-11 showing (9.1 percent) from three-point range. The Johnnies entered the contest shooting 51.1 percent (90-for-176) in the season's first three games, including 45.1 percent (48-for-62) from behind the arc.

Tyler Weiss (Shakopee, Minn.) led five Johnnies in double figures with 15 points and six rebounds, while sophomore guard
David Stokman (Maple Lake, Minn.) totaled 13 points, thanks to a perfect 9-for-9 showing at the free-throw line, and five boards.

Jordan Jenkins led all scorers with 19 points for the Bearcats (1-3 overall), who were out-scored 54-28 in the paint and 16-4 off turnovers.
The Johnnies end their Thanksgiving trip by taking on the host Tigers at 8 p.m. CST Saturday, Nov. 26.
