Dylan Lehrer (Prior Lake, Minn.) received a red card 15:56 into the match, leaving SJU a man down for the final 74:04.
Logan Andryk made it 2-0 on a penalty kick in the 57th minute (56:12) and Brock Shilling ended the scoring with a goal seven minutes later.
Lebahn made five saves in the loss for SJU (1-1 overall). Sophomore
Conor Failor (Bloomington, Minn./Holy Angels) relieved Lebahn for the final 16:13 and did not face a shot in his collegiate debut.
Shots were 11-9 in favor of MSOE (8-5 on goal), as well as corner kicks (4-2) and fouls (21-17).
The Johnnies wrap up their weekend trip in Wisconsin with a 1 p.m. match at Carroll on Sunday, Sept. 6, in Waukesha.
