MEQUON, Wis. – Saint John's suffered its first loss of the 2014 season by a 3-0 score to North Park (Ill.) on Saturday, Sept. 6, in Mequon, Wis.

The Vikings (3-0, 0-0 CCIW) found the net quickly with a goal from Fredrik Greiff 3:12 into the match, and added another from Diego Lashlee with 3:39 left in the first half. A tally from Markus Fodstad from 25 yards out ended the scoring at 3-0 in the 62nd minute.

Junior Kevin Lebahn (New Hope, Minn./Benilde-St. Margaret's) made eight saves in the loss, as SJU (2-1, 0-0 MIAC) was out-shot 17-4 (11-0 on goal) in the match. NPU tallied four yellow cards and held a 17-12 edge in fouls.

The Johnnies take on Beloit (Wis.) for a 1 p.m. match on Sunday, Sept. 7, in Mequon, Wis.
