COLLEGEVILLE, Minn. – Saint John's recorded its fourth consecutive win with a 1-0 decision over Wisconsin-Superior on a chilly Tuesday, Oct. 28, at Haws Field in Collegeville.

The non-conference victory, the Johnnies' third straight shutout, gave fifth-year head coach John Haws his first 10-win season. SJU (10-6, 6-3 MIAC) posted nine wins in each of the past three campaigns.

Sophomore Zach Wright (Blaine, Minn.) scored what proved to be the game-winner 4:51 before halftime. Freshman Daniel Bruckbauer (Fargo, N.D./Shanley) sprinted up the right side and dodged two Superior (9-8-1, 2-1-1 WIAC) defenders, including one on the backline, before centering the ball to Wright, who put it away for his team-leading fourth goal of the season.

Junior Kevin Lebahn (New Hope, Minn./Benilde-St. Margaret's) made five saves to improve to 9-6 and earn his fourth shutout of the year (10th of his career). He has now allowed five goals in his last eight matches (last 727:26 in net).

The Johnnies play host to Concordia-Moorhead for the 1 p.m. regular-season finale this Saturday, Nov. 1, at Haws Field.
