Senior co-captain
Zane Heinselman (River Falls, Wis.) gave the Johnnies an early 1-0 lead with what proved to be the game-winning goal 5:56 into the match, with an assist going to sophomore defender
Dylan Lehrer (Prior Lake, Minn.).
Sophomore forward
Jake Anderson (Lewis Center, Ohio/Olentangy) made it 2-0 with an unassisted tally, his second of the season, 7:32 into the second half. Sophomore defender
Jose Cabrera (Medford, Ore./South Medford) sent a cross through the box, where it was played by a Concordia defender, but Anderson spun around the defender, stole the ball and ripped a shot to the far corner.
Heinselman added his second goal of the game for good measure, his fifth of the season and 18th of his career, in the 60th minute. Anderson blasted a point-blank shot off the Cobbers' goalkeeper, but the deflection went directly to Heinselman for an easy goal.
Junior
Kevin Lebahn (New Hope, Minn./Benilde-St. Margaret's) made one save in 68:33 to earn the win, his 10th of the season (10-6 record), before freshman
Treyton Neuharth (Prior Lake, Minn.) relieved him for the final 21:27.
SJU out-shot the Cobbers (2-15-1, 1-8-1 MIAC) by a 27-6 margin, including 15-2 on goal.
