ST. CLOUD, Minn. – Saint John's ended its 2010-11 season with a 2-1 loss to St. Olaf on Saturday, Feb. 19.

For the second straight game, a third-period lead slipped away from SJU (6-17-2, 5-9-2 MIAC).

Following a scoreless first period, sophomore Tobias Linbro (Nykvarn, Sweden) gave the Johnnies a 1-0 lead 1:21 into the second. Sophomores Joe Harren (Warroad, Minn.) and Michael Palmiscno (East Grand Forks, Minn.) each tallied their 10th assists of the season.

Austin Wetmore tied the game at the 11:21 mark of the third period, and Jeff Warren tallied the game-winner on the power play with 4:32 left to play.

Sophomore Adam Andersson (Pixbo, Sweden) made 27 saves in the loss.

SJU outshot the Oles (11-10-4, 5-7-4 MIAC) 32-29 in the game but was 0-for-4 with the man advantage.

The one-goal game nipped the Johnnies for the ninth time this year and 19th in the last three seasons. All three losses to St. Olaf this season were decided by one goal.
