ST. PAUL, Minn. – St. Thomas' Nick Rapisarda scored two second-half goals as the Tommies defeated Saint John's 2-0 on Tuesday, Sept. 28, in St. Paul.

Rapisarda scored his second and third goals of the season at the 60:40 and 74:26 mark, respectively.

Senior goalkeeper Matt Anderson (Eden Prairie, Minn.) made seven saves, including five in the first half, in the loss for SJU (2-3-3, 1-1-2 MIAC).

Freshman Michael Coborn (St. Cloud, Minn./Cathedral) and senior Kevin Saunders (Hastings, Minn.) collected a shot-on goal each.

The Johnnies return home to host MIAC-leading Carleton for a 4 p.m. match this Saturday, Oct. 2, at George Durenberger Field in Collegeville.
