Saint John's University freshman Fabricio Moncada (Managua, Nicaragua/Lincoln International Academy) improved to 4-1 at No. 1 singles, 3-0 in the MIAC, with a straight-set decision (6-2, 6-3) over Saint Mary's Mike Lunka on Saturday, March 6. 

The Johnnies (6-4, 1-2 MIAC) earned their first MIAC win of the season, a 5-4 decision over the Cardinals, before blanking Ripon (Wis.) 9-0 later in the afternoon. 

SJU returns with its five-match winning streak Sunday, March 28, against St. Cloud State. The match is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. at Gold’s Gym in Sartell.
