Saint John’s University freshman forward Jascha Pettit (Wadena, Minn.) tallied three goals in the Johnnies’ weekend split Nov. 5-6 in the Duluth area. Pettit scored his first career goal and added another on the power play, which served as the game-winner, in SJU’s 3-1 win over No. 13 St. Scholastica on Nov. 5. He added another power play goal in the Johnnies’ 6-3 loss to No. 4 Wis.-Superior on Nov. 6.

Pettit is currently tied for the MIAC lead in power-play goals (2) and third in goals (3) and freshman scoring (3g/0a).

The Johnnies begin MIAC play this Friday, Nov. 13, at Bethel. The game is scheduled for 8 p.m. at the Bethel University Arena in Blaine.
