Having gained only 24 yards on 14 plays and down 3-0 in the first quarter, Hansel came off the bench and provided the spark at quarterback SJU has been looking for. Hansel ended the day 19 of 36 passing for 283 yards and three touchdowns, and ran for another score to lead SJU to a 31-17 Homecoming win over Gustavus Adolphus last Saturday, Sept. 27. Hansel's one-yard plunge with 2:40 remaining in the first half gave SJU the lead for good, 14-10.
