Saint John's senior Raymond Twumasi (Coon Rapids, Minn.) registered a distance of 13.78 meters, the 18th-best mark in NCAA Division III, to win the triple jump at the Hamline Invitational last Saturday, April 1, in St. Paul.
He is a five-time All-MIAC honoree (two indoors, three indoors) in the event and his personal-record of 14.10 meters, which earned him a second-place finish at the 2016 MIAC Outdoor Championships, would be tied for ninth-best in the country.
The Johnnies host an invitational at 11 a.m. this Saturday, April 8, in Clemens Stadium, as well as a two-day, individual multi-event competition Saturday and Sunday.
