Saint John's sophomore Paul Knaak (Forest Lake, Minn./Stillwater Area) won the 50- (22.14) and 100-yard (48.87) freestyles, and was the first leg of the Johnnies’ first-place 200-yard freestyle relay team (1:27.89), in the 130-111 dual loss to St. Thomas on Saturday, Dec. 14, in Collegeville. SJU won seven of the 13 events.

The Johnnies return to competition in the New Year with a 1 p.m. dual at Carleton on Saturday, Jan. 11, in Northfield.
