Saint John’s senior thrower Tim Juba (Cottage Grove, Minn./Park) led all Division III participants with a third-place finish and an NCAA provisional mark in the hammer throw (55.84 meters) at last week’s Macalester Twilight held April 28. The distance is the third-best in the MIAC so far this season.

Juba won the hammer throw with a shorter distance (55.15 meters) at Gustavus Adolphus' “Drake Alternative” April 30.

The Johnnies travel to compete at the annual Meet of Saints this Saturday, May 7, on the St. Olaf campus in Northfield.
