Scott Bierscheid serves as the head athletic trainer at Saint John’s, a position he has held since 1997.
Prior to his position at SJU, Bierscheid was an athletic trainer with the football and wrestling teams at Oklahoma State University from 1992-93 and with the men’s ice hockey team at St. Cloud State University from 1994-95. In addition, Bierscheid completed an athletic training internship with the New England Patriots in 1991.
He received the Minnesota Chapter of the National Football Foundation's Fred Zamberletti Award. The award, named after the Minnesota Vikings’ first head athletic trainer, is one of the top honors in Minnesota sports medicine.
Bierscheid received his bachelor’s degree in athletic training from Mankato State University in 1992 and master’s degree in athletic administration from St. Cloud State University in 1996.
Scott and his wife, Kristine, live in Sartell and have four children.
