Bierscheid serves as the head athletic trainer at Saint John’s. Along with his athletic-training duties he serves as the advisor for the SJU Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC). Bierscheid is also an instructor with the CSB/SJU sports medicine minor. Scott received his bachelor’s degree in athletic training from Mankato State University in 1992 and master’s degree in athletic administration from St. Cloud State University in 1996. Prior to his position at SJU, Bierscheid was an athletic trainer with the football and wrestling teams at Oklahoma State University from 1992-93 and with the men’s ice hockey team at St. Cloud State University from 1994-95. In addition, Bierscheid completed an athletic training internship with the New England Patriots in 1991. Scott and his wife, Kristine, live in Sartell and have four children.
