Quinn is in his fifth season as an assistant basketball coach at Saint John’s in 2026-27. He served as an assistant basketball coach at another MIAC institution, Saint Mary’s, in 2021-22 and spent two seasons on the coaching staff at his alma mater, Loras (Iowa), in 2020-21. Quinn was a graduate assistant coach at La Verne (Calif.) in 2019-20.
Since joining the staff, the Johnnies have won three MIAC titles (two regular season, one playoff). He has helped coach nine All-MIAC players and two-time All-Region selection and All-America second-teamer Ryan Thissen.
A 2017 graduate of Loras, Quinn played four seasons for the Duhawks. He was a team captain as a senior and helped the team to its first Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (IIAC) championship in 10 years. In that season, he started all 26 games and averaged 8.9 points, 5.1 rebounds and 1.7 assists per contest. Quinn also served as vice-president and then president of the school’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) and earned his bachelor's degree in finance. He and his wife, Liz, live in Sartell.
