Clark is in his first season as an assistant wrestling coach at Saint John’s in 2018-19. The 2020 Olympic hopeful has competed in the last five Olympic trials (2000, 2004, 2008, 2012, 2016), with runner-up finishes in 2004 and 2016. Clark is a two-time Olympic alternate (Athens in 2004 and Rio de Janeiro in 2016) and a seven-time member of the U.S. National Team. He served nine years of active duty in the U.S. Marine Corps and was an 11-time Armed Forces gold medalist for the USMC. Internationally, Clark is a three-time World Team trials runner-up, a two-time World Team Member (Guangzhou in 2006 and Moscow in 2010), a 2007 World Cup champion (Ankara) and a 2000 World Military bronze medalist. He was a two-time Minnesota state champion, thanks to undefeated junior and senior seasons, at South St. Paul High School. Clark is the owner/head instructor at Wrestle-Jitsu Training Center in Waite Park. He and his wife, Jocelyn, have five children and live in Sartell.
