Walkinshaw is in his fourth season as an assistant coach for the Johnnies in 2024-25. He played four seasons at Ohio Northern and graduated in 2020 with a degree in mechanical engineering. Walkinshaw totaled 25 points (6g/13a) in 60 career games and was named to the OAC All-Tournament Team, an All-OAC second team honoree and earned Academic All-OAC distinction as a sophomore.
