2016-17: Played all 25 games for SJU…led the Johnnies in goals (9), points (22), power-play points (11) and plus/minus (+6), while tying for the team lead in assists (13) and power-play goals (4)...he posted six points (3g/3a) in his final five games, led SJU with 13 points (4g/9a) in conference play and registered only three penalties…All-MIAC first-team selection…Academic All-MIAC.

2015-16: Tied for fourth on the team with 16 points (7g/9a) in 23 games…tallied the game-winning goal in the Johnnies’ 7-3 win over Bethel Jan. 21…earned the team’s Co-Most Improved Player award…Academic All-MIAC.

2014-15: Appeared in 13 games and collected six points (2g/4a)…received team’s Most Improved Player award.

Personal: A 2014 graduate of Maple Grove High School…two-time all-conference selection…shoots left...son of John and Kim Valerius of Maple Grove, Minn…born 8/20/96…studied abroad in Italy during May 2016…Global Business Leadership major.
