Nick Sperides

    Volunteer Assistant Hockey Coach
Sperides is in his second year as an assistant coach with SJU’s varsity squad in 2014-15. A 1983 graduate of the University of Minnesota, Sperides has coached at every level of youth hockey for over 25 years, serving most recently with the St. Louis Park High School boys’ varsity team and Minnesota Hockey/Reebok High Performance’s Advanced 15 and 16 program. Sperides also serves as an assistant coach for Minnesota Hockey/District 6 Coaches’ Education Program, where he works with youth coaches to implement skill development curriculum geared toward creating future college hockey talent. He is a registered architect and is president of SR Architects in Bloomington. A native of Edina, Sperides lives in Bloomington with his wife, Peggy. They have a daughter, Katie (Saint Benedict ’11), and a son Ted (Minnesota-Duluth ’08).
