Dennis Schueller is a graduate of Simley High School and Bemidji State University, where he participated in hockey, baseball and football.  He was a member of four NAIA national championship hockey teams with the Beavers and is a member of both the Simley and BSU Halls of Fame. Schueller played for the St. Paul Parkers Hockey Club and won five national championships during his playing days. He is currently semi-retired and teaches driver’s education and coaches golf at Simley High School. Dennis taught in the Bemidji, White Bear Lake and Inver Grove Heights school districts. Schueller served as an assistant at Mariner and Hill-Murray high schools, and served as head coach at Simley, North St. Paul and Burnsville high schools. He followed his 25-year coaching career with four years as a regional scout for the Nashville Predators of the National Hockey League (NHL). Schueller currently resides in Inver Grove Heights, with his wife Nancy. They also have a daughter, Corrie, and two grandsons, Mason and Gavyn. Schueller currently serves his community as the vice chair of the Park and Recreational Commission.
