2016-17: Started all 28 games…shot a team-leading 59.2 percent from the field…led the team in rebounds with 170, 6.1 per game…averaged 16.1 points per game…named to the All-MIAC first team…earned the team’s Day-After-Day award.

2015-16: Started all 27 games for the Johnnies…shot 55.4 percent from the field…tied his career high with 18 points and grabbed a career-high 14 rebounds vs. St. Thomas Jan. 13…led SJU with 195 rebounds (7.2 rpg.) and 23 blocks…finished third on the team in free-throw percentage (.716).

2014-15: Played in 25 games, with 17 starts, for the Johnnies as a freshman…shot 57.4% from the field…posted career highs in points (18) and blocked shots (6) at Augsburg on Feb. 18…named to All-MIAC Freshman team…received the team’s Most Outstanding Freshman award.

Personal: A 2014 graduate of Shakopee High School…coached by Bruce Kugath…All-Conference selection…Academic All-State…named to Class AAAA All-Tournament team as the Sabers took third in 2013-14…Computer Science major…son of Travis ’94 and Rebecca (CSB ’94) Weiss of Shakopee, Minn…father played basketball at SJU and finished with 926 career points from 1990-94…his .766 shooting percentage (160-for-209) recorded in the 1993-94 season stood as an NCAA record, across all divisions, until 2009…younger sisters, Hunter and Madison, are first-year volleyball student-athletes at CSB…born 4/10/96.
