A 2021 graduate of SJU, Kulick is in his first season as the Johnnies' quarterbacks coach in 2023. He played quarterback collegiately at Division I (FCS) Davidson and Western Kentucky, where he had the opportunity to play for Steve Spurrier Jr. After undergoing back surgery in 2019, Kulick worked as a student assistant at SJU, contributing to an offense that set program records in total yards and passing yards per game. He was the assistant running backs coach at Division I (FBS) Northwestern in 2022, helping coach Evan Hull, a fifth-round draft pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, and Andrew Clair, an undrafted free agent who signed with the Chicago Bears. Prior to his time in Evanston, Ill., Kulick served in an offensive quality control role at Gardner-Webb, assisting an offensive unit that ranked second in the Big South Conference in points per game and third in yards per game. Prior to Gardner-Webb and over the COVID season in 2020, Kulick joined the football staff at his alma mater, the Breck School, as the varsity quarterback coach and junior varsity offensive coordinator.
