Welsh is in his third season on the offensive coaching staff in 2011 after being a four-year player at quarterback and wide receiver from 2003-07 and a member of the 2003 SJU National Championship team. Welsh was also a four-year player on the SJU baseball team. Welsh recently assisted Jim Mader with the Cineplexx Blue Devils, a semi-professional team in the Austrian Football League (AFL) and the Switzerland NLA League, the past two springs. He is expected to graduate and receive his Master’s degree in Sports Psychology from Capella University this December.
