2018: Academic All-MIAC honoree...appeared in 40 games with a .291 batting average...totaled 2 home runs and 34 RBI.

2017: Academic All-MIAC honoree...started 34 of SJU's 38 games...recorded a .241 batting average with 27 hits, 16 runs and two home runs in 112 at-bats...had three doubles and a triple. 

2016: Played in four games, with one start, and made six plate appearances.

Personal: Born 10/7/96...son of Jeff and Alicia Meland...a 2015 graduate of Northfield High School...played for head coach Peter Maus...older brother, Jackson, played baseball at Concordia-Moorhead...a Biology major (pre-medicine emphasis).
