2013: Named to the D3baseball.com Preseason All-America second team.

2012: Started 39 games for Saint John’s at second base…All-MIAC first-team selection…ABCA All-Midwest Region first-team honoree…named to D3baseball.com All-Region first team…set school records for saves in a single season (10) and career saves (14)…made 19 relief appearances for the Johnnies…finished the season 1-0 with a 2.22 ERA and 24 strikeouts in 24.1 innings pitched…batted .217 with 19 runs, seven doubles and 18 RBI.

2011: Played in 12 games for the Johnnies…compiled a 3-2 record with a 1.40 ERA and four saves.

Personal: Born 9/4/90…transferred to SJU from Division I Creighton (Neb.)…a 2009 graduate of Rockford Boylan High School...played for head coach Matt Weber…son of Bernie and Peggy Long of Belvidere, Ill…Economics major.
