A 1977 graduate of SJU, Becker is in his second season as an assistant baseball coach for the Johnnies in 2018. Becker played baseball and football for the Johnnies, where he was a member of SJU’s 1976 NCAA Division III national-championship football team. He is an assistant baseball coach for Tri-City Red, an American Legion baseball team based out of New Brighton (Post #513). Off the diamond, Becker is a founder of Northstar Capital, a leading private equity firm based in Minneapolis.
