Krueger begins is in his 10th year as an assistant coach at Saint John's in 2015. He is a 1999 graduate of Saint John's. In college, Krueger was a four-year starter at shortstop and was named to the 1998 and 1999 All-MIAC squads, as well as the 1999 All-Midwest Region Team. He is SJU's all-time leader in runs scored (112) and is fourth on the all-time hit list with 144. Krueger graduated from Goodhue High School in 1995 and was a four-year letter winner in baseball. Krueger is in his 13th season playing in an amateur baseball league and is a member the St. Joseph Joes.
