Brian Hansen is in his fifth season as the Johnnie baseball hitting coach in the 2026-27 academic year.
Hansen graduated in 2013 from St. Cloud State where he played alongside Head Coach Scott Lieser and was a three-year starter in centerfield. He was drafted in the 49th round of the 2011 MLB draft by Cleveland. He played professionally in 2014 and 2015 for the independent River City (Missouri) Rascals of the Frontier League. River City folded after the 2019 season.
The Cold Spring native and Rocori graduate still plays in the outfield for the Cold Spring Stingers. He and his wife Emma have two sons, Leo and Nash.
