2017: D3baseball.com All-Midwest Region second-team selection...named to ABCA All-Midwest third team...All-MIAC first team...went 3-1 in 18 appearances (all relief) with 28 strikeouts in 32.1 innings pitched.

2016: Went 4-1 and totaled 41 strikeouts in 50.2 innings pitched...batted .207 (6-for-29) with four RBI and seven runs scored in 11 games (nine starts).

2015: Made seven appearances on the mound for the Johnnies and ended the season with a 1-0 record and two saves...in his 10.0 innings pitched, Etzell had seven strikeouts and finished with an ERA of 2.71.

Personal: Born 8/16/95...son of Mike '88 and Kristi Etzell of Greenbank, Wash...a 2014 graduate of Coupeville High School (Wash.)...played for head coach Willie Smith...an Elementary Education major.
