2008: Named to All-MIAC second team...named the MIAC Defensive Player of the Week on Oct. 27 for his performance in the Johnnies’ 20-14 overtime win at St. Olaf...posted eight tackles (five solo), one interception, one forced fumble and a blocked field goal against the Oles...started all 11 games at safety...finished fourth on the team with 65 tackles (31 solo) and two interceptions.

2007: Appeared in all 12 games on special teams and as SJU’s nickel back in the secondary...made 11 tackles (six solo) and had one pass breakup.

2006: Made the travel squad as a freshman...tallied four solo tackles.

Personal: born 7/15/87...management major...is the grandson of Saint John’s All-American Felix Mannella ‘60...high school teammate of senior defensive back Dominic Haik...a 2006 graduate of Totino-Grace H.S...played for head coach Jeff Ferguson.
