2008: Started all 11 games at wide receiver...named to All-MIAC second team...caught 46 passes for 798 yards and six touchdowns...posted a combined 16 receptions for 344 yards and three touchdowns in back-to-back weeks against Bethel and Hamline, respectively...caught a career-high 10 passes in the 14-9 loss at Bethel on Oct. 4...gained a career-high 195 yards against Hamline the following week on Oct. 11.

2007: Appeared in all 12 games...made 28 receptions for 443 yards and four touchdowns...gained a then-career high of 100 yards on four receptions, including 54 yards on the game’s first offensive play from scrimmage, in the Johnnies’ 40-0 win at Gustavus Adolphus on Oct. 13.

Personal: born 5/24/88...son of Dan and Julie Vanderheyden...management & communication major...high school teammate of defensive back Nate Anderson, wide receiver Stu Pease and defensive lineman Jimmy Sharpe... a 2006 graduate of Wayzata H.S...played for head coach Brad Anderson.
