2020-21: Played five games for the Johnnies…recorded four points (3g/1a).
2019-20: Did not play.
2018-19: Appeared in 20 games and collected nine points (4g/5a)…scored two power-play goals…served as the team’s captain…Academic All-MIAC.
2017-18: Played 16 games and posted six points (4g/2a)…scored the game-winning goal Jan. 19 against Concordia-Moorhead…assistant captain…AHCA All-America Scholar.
2016-17: Registered 17 points (4g/13a) in 21 games for SJU as a freshman…finished third in the MIAC, both among freshmen and the league's defensemen, with 10 points (2g/8a) in conference play despite missing two games…his 17 points overall, including 10 (3g/7a) on the power play, were good for second on the team…All-MIAC first-team selection…was the first freshman Johnnie defenseman to earn All-MIAC honors since Darryl Smoleroff '06 in 2002-03…named to the six-man USCHO.com All-Rookie team…named to the seven-man MIAC All-Rookie team.
Personal: A 2014 graduate La Entrada High School (Calif.)…collected 38 points (8g/30a) in 131 games from the blue line for the NAHL’s Bismarck Bobcats from 2014-16…served as the Bobcats’ team captain in 2015-16…received the prestigious NAHL Community Service Award in 2016…shoots right...son of Craig and Christine Souto of Yorba Linda, Calif…Philosophy and Political Science double-major.
