Biography

2015: Played in 23 games for the Johnnies, incudling 22 starts...batted .297 on the season with 22 hits in 74 at bats...scored 15 runs and had 11 RBI for SJU...made nine appearances on the mound, including seven starts...had an even 3-3 record for the Johnnies with a 4.21 ERA...in the 43.2 total innings he pitched, Strey collected 33 strikeouts and allowed only seven walks. 

2014: Appeared in eight games (six starts)...tallied a 4-3 record and a 3.62 ERA...tied for the most wins on the staff...had one complete game and one shutout...was second on the team with 37.1 innings pitched.

2013: Posted a 1-0 record with a .238 opponent batting average in 5.1 innings pitched (two appearances, one start).

Personal: Born 3/14/94…son of Tom and Ann Strey of Apple Valley…a 2012 graduate of Eastview High School…played for his father, Tom, at Eastview H.S...a Social Science major.
