COLLEGEVILLE, Minn. – Saint John's sophomore goalkeeper Alex Keekley (St. Louis Park, Minn./Minnetonka) was named The House Food & Tap's SJU Athlete of the Week on Monday, Sept. 14.

Keekley made 10 saves in two more shutouts last week on the road as SJU improved to 6-0 and extended its shutout streak to 540 minutes to start the 2026 season. He stopped three shots in Tuesday's 3-0 win at Bethany Lutheran and a season-high seven in Saturday's 1-0 victory at Wisconsin-Superior. 

Keekley is now 5-0 with five shutouts and 16 saves five starts into his Johnnie career. 

The Johnnies (6-0-0 overall) open MIAC play with a 4 p.m. game at Bethel (3-1-0 overall) on Tuesday, Sept. 15, in Arden Hills.
