D3football.com Poll – Week 1 

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – Saint John's University stayed at No. 5 in the first D3football.com Top 25 poll of the 2025 regular season posted on Sunday, Sept. 7.

Eight teams in NCAA Region 6 were ranked in the top 25, including five in the top 16: SJU (No. 5), Wisconsin-La Crosse (No. 9), Wisconsin-Platteville (No. 11), Bethel (No. 12), Wisconsin-River Falls (No. 13), Wisconsin-Oshkosh (No. 16), Wisconsin-Whitewater (No. 21) and Whitworth (No. 24). Linfield (39) and Wisconsin-Stout (13) received votes.

SJU, which was ranked No. 4 in the American Football Coaches' Association (AFCA) preseason poll, opens its 2025 season by hosting Minnesota-Morris for a 1 p.m. kickoff this Saturday, Sept. 13, in Clemens Stadium.
