D3football.com Poll – Week 3
MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – Saint John's University climbed one spot to No. 4 in tonight's (Sunday, Sept. 21) D3football.com Top 25 poll.
Seven teams in NCAA Region 6 were ranked in the top 25, all in the top 20: SJU (No. 4), Wisconsin-La Crosse (No. 5), Wisconsin-Platteville (No. 8), Wisconsin-Whitewater (No. 10), Wisconsin-River Falls (No. 11), Bethel (No. 12) and Wisconsin-Oshkosh (No. 19). Linfield (22), Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (8) and Lewis & Clark (2) received votes.
Working a two-series-apiece quarterback rotation, SJU (2-0, 1-0 MIAC) scored on eight of its first nine possessions en route to a 59-0, MIAC-opening shutout of Hamline on Saturday (Sept. 20) in St. Paul. Junior
Trey Feeney (Moorhead, Minn.) finished 14 of 20 passing for 215 yards and two touchdowns, while senior
Zander Dittbenner (Mankato, Minn./West) finished 8 of 12 for 160 yards and one touchdown through the air, while rushing for two more.

Joey Gendreau (Shorewood, Minn./Minnetonka) posted his second 100-yard receiving game in as many weeks with 137 yards on nine catches, while senior wide receiver
Dylan Wheeler (St. Paul, Minn./Mounds View) caught three touchdowns for the sixth time in his career. On the ground, junior running back
Corey Bohmert (Mahtomedi, Minn.) rushed for 40 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
The SJU defense held Hamline to 48 yards rushing and nine first downs, while three sophomore Johnnies – cornerback
Westin Hoyt (Forest Lake, Minn.), safety
Mark Rogalski (Eden Prairie, Minn./St. Thomas Academy) and safety
Nolan Dumonceaux (Forest Lake, Minn.) - intercepted a pass. Junior defensive back
Peyton Goettlicher (Mankato, Minn./West) led the team with six tackles (five solo) and a forced fumble, while senior defensive lineman
Zach Frank (Lino Lakes, Minn./Centennial) added three tackles for loss, including a sack.
Saint John's hosts Augsburg (1-1, 1-0 MIAC) for Homecoming at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27, in Clemens Stadium.
