AFCA Poll – Week 11
WACO, Texas – Saint John's University jumped one spot to No. 6 in the final American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Top 25 poll of the regular season, presented by Hudl, posted on Monday, Nov. 17.
Six teams in NCAA Region 6 were ranked in the top 25, all in the top 16: Bethel (No. 3), Wisconsin-River Falls (No. 4), SJU (No. 6), Wisconsin-Platteville (No. 13), Wisconsin-Whitewater (No. 14) and Wisconsin-La Crosse (No. 16). Whitworth (21), Chapman (6) and Linfield (5) received votes.
The Johnnies (8-1, 7-1 MIAC) moved up one spot to No. 7 in the final D3football.com Top 25 poll of the regular season released yesterday and climbed four places to No. 16 in the National Power Index (NPI) used to select the at-large bids for the postseason field.
SJU received one of the 13 at-large bids to the NCAA Division III playoffs and hosts No. 23/25 Monmouth of Illinois (9-1, 9-0 MWC) in the second round at noon Saturday, Nov. 29, in Clemens Stadium.
